Hi — thank you for trusting us with your details. Potentially Soulmates is an in-real-life reality dating show. This page explains, in everyday language, what we collect when you apply to be on the show or ask to be told when it airs, why we collect it, where it lives, and the control you have over it. No jargon, no surprises.
What we collect
When you fill in the casting application, you share things like:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone / WhatsApp number
- Your date of birth
- Where you're based (your location)
- Which group you're joining and whether you're single
- The consent check-boxes you tick
- Your answers to six free-text personality questions — the real, weird, honest stuff
- A required photo of you, and an optional short video
- An optional social handle (Instagram / TikTok), if you choose to add one
If you're just curious and use the "notify me when it airs" field instead, all we collect there is your email address.
How we collect it
We only get this information because you give it to us directly — either by completing the casting application form on our site, or by entering your email into the "notify me when it airs" box. We don't buy it, scrape it, or gather it from anywhere else.
How we use it
We use what you share for a small, specific set of reasons:
- To read and review your casting application properly (we genuinely read every one)
- To email or message you about your application — for example, to set up a video chat
- To email you when the show airs, if you asked us to let you know
That's it. We don't use your details for anything you didn't sign up for.
Where it's stored
Your application is stored securely using Supabase, our database and storage provider. Your photo and any video you upload are kept in private storage — they aren't public and aren't browsable by anyone on the internet.
Who sees it
Only our casting team sees what you send. We don't sell your information, and we don't post your photos, video, or answers anywhere without your permission. If you're selected and the show moves forward, anything to do with filming or being shown publicly is handled by a separate, detailed agreement you'd read and sign first.
How long we keep it
We keep your application only as long as we reasonably need it for casting and to contact you about it. If you'd like us to delete it sooner, just ask — see "Your choices" below.
Your choices
It's your information, so you stay in control. At any time you can:
- Ask us what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your application and details
- Ask to be taken off the "notify me when it airs" list

Cookies & analytics
We keep this minimal. We don't run heavy advertising trackers on you. Any cookies or basic analytics we use are only there to help the site work and to understand, at a high level, how it's being used.
